May Ling Lai
May Ling Lai is an innovation specialist, investor, consultant, business founder, and world traveler. At age 24, she built a nutraceuticals business that in 2 years generated annual revenue over $2mm. She worked at two of the top global investment banks, an $8bln hedge fund, and was head of outsourced risk and analytics for 25 other hedge funds with assets totaling over $25bln in total. Before going into nomadic semi-retirement at age 39, she was consulting for pension funds and large asset managers who in total managed over $1 trillion dollars in assets. She is currently a Professor of Data Science with Franklin University while also serving as Chief Market Strategist for Gurula and hosting the daily YouTube Show “Markets with May”. She is an avid world traveler; she is proficient in 5 languages and she has been to over 60 countries.
