3) EXPERIENCES

STAY AT A JAPANESE RYOKAN. One of my most memorable travel experiences was staying at a Ryokan (a traditional Japanese guest house with tatami-matted rooms). Here I’m wearing a Yukata on the way to the Onsen (a traditional Japanese bath with naturally hot water from geothermal hot springs). I also had a multi-course chef’s tasting menu served to me in my room. You can find ryokans in different places around Japan but this one was on the island of Miyajima.
