FLY BROTHER WITH ERNEST WHITE II. I interviewed Ernest White II back on Episode 147 of The Maverick Show and he is one of the smartest and most thoughtful guests I’ve ever had on the podcast. Ernest is the producer and host of the award winning travel docu-series “Fly Brother with Ernest White II” on PBS (the first travel show ever to be executive produced and hosted by a Black man). Ernest highlights what it means to be both a Black and a gay traveler, centering historically underrepresented travel narratives. In the show, he circumnavigates the globe from Brazil to Sweden to Tajikistan to Namibia, building authentic connections with local people along the way. I binged Season 1 in a weekend!
