JAPANESE WHISKY BARS. Each time I go to Japan, hitting a whisky bar is always a top priority. While Japan has been producing whisky for 150 years, it has only been in the past 25 years that the world really took notice, as Japanese whiskies began entering and winning top honors at international competitions and beating major Scottish distilleries in blind tastings. The quality of the whisky is incredible (and you can certainly order it around the world), but the magic of spending an evening at a whisky bar in Japan is unmatched!
