THE ALBA WHITE TRUFFLE FAIR is an annual event in the Piedmont region of Italy that is absolutely wild. The best Michelin star Italian chefs descend on Alba to prepare dishes in front of you that pair perfectly with white truffles. The fair offers a truffle market, truffle-sensory-appreciation classes, cooking classes, and wine tastings. It’s one of the main showcases of haute Italian gastronomy. And, it takes place at the base of the Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions, so you can schedule vineyard tours and taste some of the finest wines in Italy! 3) DESTINATIONS

THE GOBI DESERT in MONGOLIA is a truly fascinating and stunningly beautiful place. Spend even two days in the desert and you will see a range of jaw dropping landscapes that will make you feel like you’ve visited multiple different planets. I was there in 2019 and I’ve never seen anything quite like it. It is the largest desert in Asia and you can explore it by camel. Be sure not to miss the “flaming cliffs” where dinosaur eggs were discovered!
