The Invaders is a documentary about a Memphis-based Black Power organization formed in the late 1960s. It traces how its young members organized against racism, police brutality, and economic injustice while navigating intense surveillance and political repression during the civil rights era. Produced by Nas, the film relies heavily on archival footage and present-day interviews with surviving members to tell the story directly from those who lived it.  It challenges simplified narratives about the civil rights movement and offers a rare, unfiltered look at an organization often overlooked in mainstream histories.
