🇵🇸 1) A Solidarity Delegation to Join
|
Visit Palestine as part of a solidarity delegation with EyeWitness Palestine to bear witness, gain a deeper understanding of the realities Palestinians are facing, and translate that into action at home. It’s an immersive journey across the West Bank and historic Palestine where you’ll meet Palestinian human rights defenders, organizers, civil servants, religious leaders, farmers, refugees, and artists to learn directly from them about their lives, histories, cultures, and the everyday violence they are living through— beyond the news headlines— as well as to stand in solidarity with them and build relationships that last a lifetime. Apply Here.

We Are Still Here. Since the start of the genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, higher education institutions have been systematically destroyed, campuses lie in ruins, academics and students have been killed or forcibly displaced, and what was once a thriving, intellectually vibrant student population now lives under daily threat of bombardment, forced starvation, and death. Yet, many are still writing, and this is an anthology of their voices–raw, unfiltered, and courageous. It features short and long stories, poems, essays, and testimonies written by students from Gaza’s universities. These are real-time words, emerging from the depths of genocide, displacement & grief, and may be their last hopes to reach the world, a final act of resistance through expression. Buy the book.

♥️ 3) A Benefit Concert to Attend
|
Music of Hanzala: An Evening of Remembrance & Resistance (with Pulizer Prize Winner Mosab Abu Toha) is a concert built around 100 drawings by Palestinian cartoonist Naji al-Ali, animated and projected above a 9-piece ensemble playing twelve songs of childhood, freedom, and return that span 1948 to now. Woven through the music are poetry, archival footage of iconic figures for liberation and freedom. Meet me in Washington DC for this extraordinary evening on October 10th from 6-8pm. Part of the proceeds benefit American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) which runs important humanitarian aid projects in Palestine and Lebanon. Get Your Ticket.
